Hello, and welcome to Tonic! My name is Tonya, and I have been behind the chair for 10 years and counting. Growing up as a mixed race woman, I always felt finding the right salon that treated my hair with integrity and care was such a difficult challenge. Now, I’m pleased to have my own personal and professional experience give others the benefit of quality service from the behind the chair. I have a professional education with Paul Mitchell and additional experience with additional L’Oréal Professional, Redken, and Brazilian Blowout training . I believe this has given me the ability to work with diverse hair types and textures to deliver quality color and styling. My specialties mostly focus around color and smoothing treatments, though I do love a great cut and blow dry. I do have a medical service canine companion that works onsite with me at all times. Mickey is a friendly Yorkshire terrier, and total lover boy who loves meeting new people! I do require a booking deposit of $20- $85 for some of my services which is nonrefundable regardless of cancellation. This is to better prevent last minute cancellations, which greatly impacts my schedule. Once deposits are paid, you may reach out to me for any rescheduling needs. I ask that you do not bring other guests with you to your appointment as space in the salon is limited. In order to allow for appropriate timing, I encourage you to look through my offered services; which have short descriptions that will help you identify which is right for you.
